Donkey Perspective Program

See Differently... Create Differently

The Donkey Perspective is a 2–3 hour open-air creative experience at Bucko’s Barn, designed to give people time and space to focus, observe, and work in a different kind of setting—alongside the donkeys themselves.

The Donkey Perspective (10 min)
A brief introduction to how donkey behavior can influence attention and the creative process.

The Setting
Bucko’s Barn is home to five rescued donkeys—two standard-sized and three miniature. They move freely through the paddock and are accustomed to working environments with people. You can choose to work close to them or step back and observe from a distance.

Who this is for
Designed for people who want dedicated time to create in a setting that is quiet, grounded, and a little outside the usual. Open to adults (18+) at any experience level.
What to Know
We provide access to the barn and paddock, seating, restroom, and nearby parking. Bring your own materials and anything you need to work comfortably (chair, surface, water). Closed-toe shoes recommended—the terrain is natural and can be uneven or muddy.
Registration
Join us for a creative morning or afternoon at Bucko’s Barn.
$30 per session
Up to 15 participants per session. We offer a limited number of pay-what-you-can spots as part of our commitment to accessibility.
